I started at Finley shirts as an intern and once graduated, returned as Assistant Designer. Finley Shirts is a womenswear brand that offers mostly tops and dresses. They are locally designed, sampled and manufactured in Dallas. The structure is very low waste and sustainable which I admired most. The in-house team consisted of nine of us giving way to being a very close knit team. Great energy all around! We delivered product every month, end-to-end design with a six month lead time. The only imports were the fabrics.

Atelier
My responsibilities were very hands-on. I sketched new ideas, pulled old production and reinvented, laid patterns and cut. I would work alongside the patternmaker and sewer almost every day.

E-commerce & Marketing
After completing fits and readying ourselves for production, photoshoots for e-commerce and marketing were frequent and important. I would help photograph for our website and assist with marketing shoots.
